Mythology
Lia Fáil
The Lia Fáil — the Stone of Fál — is one of the most famous objects associated with the legendary kingship of Ireland.
Tradition connects the stone with Tara, the great royal landscape of County Meath. Medieval literature describes a stone that would cry out in recognition of the rightful king.
The standing stone known today as the Lia Fáil remains on the Hill of Tara, where mythology, kingship and the physical Irish landscape meet in one of Celtic Clash's clearest real-world connections.

Hill of Tara / Lia Fáil
County Meath, Ireland
The Hill of Tara is the great royal landscape traditionally associated with the kingship of Ireland. A standing stone known as the Lia Fáil stands on the site today and preserves the name and tradition of the legendary Stone of Fál. Archaeology does not prove that the present stone is literally the supernatural stone described in medieval mythology.
